Locomotive needs DC power supply, which is a typical nonlinear load. When the locomotive is running, the harmonic voltage and harmonic current are sent back to the power grid through the overhead line.The air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, battery and other electrical equipment of the locomotive are provided by the auxiliary inverter of the locomotive, and the direct current of the locomotive traction is nonlinear load, which also produces harmonics.
